Retro Academy works hard to strengthen and preserve the social fabric of our community, and is committed to providing a positive and diverse learning environment for all students. Our mission is to prepare future leaders for success through a challenging integrated curriculum, co-curricular activities, community engagement, and involvement.
Amy is a sole proprietor and Director of Little Treasures Academy with 7 years experience in education and development. In addition, she is Co-Founder of All Things Retro Recreational Complex. Amy received her Bachelors of Business Administration from Fontbonne University in 2005.
Prior to establishing Little Treasures Academy, Amy spent 15 years as a Correctional Officer with the Saint Louis County Government. During Amy’s 15-year tenure with Saint Louis County, she was certified as a FTI (Field Training Instructor), Member of the Employee Recognition Team, assisted with community service program, and Officer for the Choices Drug Treatment Program for four years.
Amy’s experience as an Officer motivated her to get more involved with the youth at a younger age. Her findings also were that individuals were lacking education and basic needs, which created a pattern of recidivism. Amy’s goal with Retro Academy is to prepare future leaders for success through a challenging unified curriculum.
